CAN YOU PUT HYDROCORTISONE CREAM ON YOUR EYELID?

You can put hydrocortisone cream on your eyelid, but only if your doctor has advised you to do so and you must always make sure you only put on a very thin layer. It’s not advisable to use hydrocortisone on your eyes for a long period of time as it’s a steroid so it thins the skin, which can damage the skin and give you pigmentation issues and make the skin weaker.

I personally never put it on my eyes as I had a bad experience with hydrocortisone when I was younger, which is what led me to natural and organic skincare products to manage my eczema flare-ups, and why I started this website.
